It is used to treat confusion (dementia) related to Alzheimer’s disease and to Parkinson’s disease.
Nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite/weight loss, diarrhea, weakness, dizziness, drowsiness, and shakiness (tremor) may occur as your body adjusts to the drug.
Before taking rivastigmine, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it (including having a rash while using rivastigmine patches); or if you have any other allergies.
