Uses
Acts as a bronchodilator, cough suppressant, expectorant, mucolytic and spasmolytic agent. Relieves chest congestion, soothes the mucus membrane of bronchial walls and restores normal breathing. Acts as an antitussive and has a soothing effect on sore throat.
Side Effects
Nausea, vomiting, dizziness, abdominal and epigastric pain.

Before using this medication, tell your doctor or pharmacist your medical history, especially of: breathing problems (such as emphysema, chronic bronchitis, asthma, smoker’s cough), coughwith blood or large amounts of mucus, liver problems.
