Description
This drug is indicated for use in schizophrenia (chronic and severe mental disorder that affects how a person thinks, feels, and behaves) and psychotic or manic symptoms of schizoaffective disorders.
Uses
It is used to treat certain mental/mood disorders (such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, irritability associated with autistic disorder).
Side Effects
Drowsiness, dizziness, lightheadedness, drooling, nausea, weight gain, or tiredness may occur.
Precautions
Before taking risperidone, tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to it; or to paliperidone; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems. Talk to your pharmacist for more details
